SEATTLE (Feb. 13, 2007) – Global law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP has named partner Michael Droke to lead the firm’s Seattle office. He succeeds Bryce Holland, who returns to his corporate and securities law practice in the Seattle office. In the office head position, Droke will report to Managing Partner Marianne Short.
Droke co-chairs the firm’s Computer Fraud and Abuse practice, is head of the Seattle Labor and Employment practice, and is a member of the Privacy practice and the Executive Compensation team. He also is a member of the Northwest Human Resource Management Association, the president-elect of the Bainbridge Public Schools Trust, and the founding member and president of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Droke received his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, and his A.B. from the University of California at Berkeley.
