Following their article in the New York Law Journal, “No, I’m Not the Court Reporter: Tips for Tackling Implicit Bias,” Shayon Smith and Shevon Rockett have teamed up with Deborah Martin Owens to design a program to assist in-house counsel to promote DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) goals internally and within their partner firms. This webinar will be moderated by Raegan Henderson and will provide attendees with tangible steps that individuals within law firms, legal departments, and companies can take to identify and combat bias and foster inclusion within their organizations. Bias awareness, communication tips, and understanding the concerns and sensitivities of colleagues within the law firm, legal department and corporate setting will all be addressed in this timely session.
