Children’s Law Center of Minnesota (CLC) cordially invites the public to join its 21st Annual Celebration & Benefit to take place on Thursday, October 13, from 5:00 – 8:30 pm at Windows on Minnesota located within the IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis. The benefit will feature a live and silent auction of donated prizes—all to raise money for CLC’s continued advocacy on behalf of abused and neglected children throughout Minnesota.

This year marks the 14th time CLC has presented its Heroes for Children Award. This year’s recipient of the award is Mr. Wheelock Whitney, to be accepted by Justice Kathleen Blatz.
Two additional prestigious awards will also be presented at the benefit to individuals and organizations who have tirelessly championed legal advocacy for youth. Mr. Wright S. Walling, Esq. will be presented with the Rosalie E. Wahl Justice for Children award. The Distinguished Service Award will be presented to the law firms of Dorsey & Whitney LLP and Robins Kaplan LLP in recognition of their outstanding commitment to pro bono services for foster care youth.
