Evergreen's employee-owned cooperatives supply goods and services to local businesses and are based in and owned by residents of six low-income neighborhoods in Cleveland, where unemployment rates range as high as 75%. We contributed to the success of the Evergreen Initiative by helping it to form a 501(c)(3) organization, Evergreen Cooperative Corporation, that assists the worker co-ops with their strategic planning and business development efforts.
