Electronic Discovery


The discovery process in modern litigation can produce an amazing number of records– Email messages, word processing files, spreadsheets, legal agreements, audio and video files, presentations, memos, etc.- as an ever greater number of computer users leave an endlessly expanding trail of electronic records that are often kept indefinitely.

The attorneys on our Electronic Discovery team help clients identify, collect and produce relevant electronic and other information in response to a request for production in a lawsuit or an investigation. Our experience in managing electronic discovery ranges from smaller matters involving less than one gigabyte (50,000 pages or less) of data to complex matters that often involve terabytes (millions of pages) of data.

We help clients appropriately identify and delete unneeded materials because, when taken out of context and viewed through a cynical lens, many seemingly innocuous items can be effectively manipulated by opposing council in adversarial proceedings.
