Erik Nyre

With a background in molecular biology and genetics, Erik provides patent prosecution and counseling to med tech companies, including for medical devices, animal nutrition, ultrasound systems, pharmaceutical treatments, and other biotech areas. Erik also works in other fields, including artificial intelligence and mechanical. In addition to drafting new patent applications and prosecuting them to issuance, Erik actively engages clients to cultivate their inventive ideas to maximize their likelihood of success and to align patent strategies and business objectives.

Beyond patent drafting, prosecution, and invention development, Erik’s services include patent litigation support, due diligence, patent licensing, and patent clearance. He is grateful for the experience and relationships gained since he began practicing at Dorsey, and he looks forward to the opportunities to come.
