Erik helps clients in finance and restructuring matters.
Erik is a partner in the Finance and Restructuring Practice Group. Erik’s practice focuses on a range of commercial lending transactions.
Erik regularly represents agents, lenders and borrowers, in all aspects of commercial financings, syndicated and participation loan transactions, tribal financings, residential mortgage financing, structured financings, private banking, and loan sale transactions.
Erik’s tribal financing practice involves representing lenders, tribes and tribal entities in a full range of transaction types, including financings for construction and expansion of casino, lodging and entertainment facilities, health care facilities, and tribal infrastructure projects. This practice also extends to commercial gaming transactions.
Erik’s warehouse lending and structured finance practice involves representing agents, lenders, originators, and other participants in a broad range of residential mortgage transactions, including warehouse lending, purchase facilities, and servicing rights transactions. Erik also represents originators and lenders in receivables facilities, equipment lease facilities, and structured finance transactions involving other non-traditional asset types.

- Counsel to numerous medical technology companies and other emerging companies in connection with debt financings.
- Counsel to investment advisor in connection with numerous EB-5 Regional Center financings.
- Counsel to utility company in connection with unclaimed property audit.
- Counsel to U.S. Bank National Association as indenture trustee in connection with the Chapter 11 restructuring of Las Vegas Monorail Company.
