Andrew’s practice covers an expansive range of industries including medical devices, automotive and agricultural implements, mechanical devices, packaging systems and technologies, and clothing and apparel.
As an Associate supporting Dorsey’s Denver and Salt Lake offices, Andrew’s practice focuses on meeting client needs through forward thinking and thoughtfully crafted patent protection and enforcement strategies across a broad array of technologies. Andrew utilizes technical expertise of mechanical systems, consumer products, medical devices, and software and computer integrated systems, among others, to understand a client’s unique legal, technical, and business needs.
Andrew leverages experience in both design and utility patent strategies to build strong client patent portfolios that incorporate multiple levels of protection for promising new client ideas, products, and processes. Andrew enjoys working with clients and local counsel in non-US jurisdictions to build international patent portfolios for an increasingly global marketplace. Andrew frequently assists clients in developing enforcement strategies around granted patents and mitigating infringement risks for new product development.
