Attorney Daniel Jackstadt has joined Dorsey & Whitney LLP as a Partner in the Patent group in Seattle, the international law firm announced today.
Daniel has assisted companies through every life stage from incubation through acquisition. He has worked with clients ranging from multinational corporations to midsized companies and startups, including universities and research institutes. Daniel has extensive experience in a wide range of IP-related matters, including domestic and international patent procurement, portfolio management, and patent infringement and validity analyses. His practice also includes patent-related due diligence, licensing support, and litigation support.
Daniel joins Dorsey from Perkins Coie LLP, bringing over a decade of patent prosecution and IP counseling experience. Daniel received his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California. Prior to working as a patent attorney, Daniel worked as a patent agent and patent assistant.
