Based in Dorsey’s New York office, Catherine is the Corporate Group Head of the New York office and Chair of the firm’s U.S.-China Practice Group. She serves as a member of the management committee. Due to her legal expertise and business acumen, Catherine is a trusted adviser to clients, leading strategic corporate transactions and solving complex legal problems for some of the world’s largest corporations, financial institutions, and business leaders. Catherine has also been consecutively ranked by Chambers Global from 2019-2023.
Catherine handles mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, equity and debt financings, and other cross-border corporate transactions. In addition to her transactional experience, Catherine also oversees risk management, dispute resolution and investigation matters for corporate clients and their officers and directors, as well as universities, research institutions, and faculty members.
