The AML Act of 2020 when implemented will likely result in wholesale revisions to the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act--the first portion of this Roundtable to analyze those potential regulatory changes, including implementation.

A bank or other entity alleged to have committed money laundering violations must consider as part of its response a focused and objective investigation. In some cases, such an investigation may be ordered by regulators. The second portion of this Roundtable will analyze issues confronting in-house and outside counsel when conducting an AML investigation.
