Andrew Brantingham

With over a decade of litigation experience in a broad range of industries, Andrew has prevailed in numerous jury trials and dispositive motion practice in state and federal trial courts, won arbitrations in forums like AAA, successfully prosecuted appeals in state and federal appellate courts, and practiced before the U.S. Supreme Court. His practice focuses in the healthcare industry, where he represents hospital systems and their medical professionals in a wide range of matters, from high-stakes medical malpractice cases, to government investigations, to multimillion-dollar business disputes. Andrew currently serves as chair of Dorsey’s Healthcare Litigation Practice Group.

Andrew also is an active member of Dorsey’s Indian Law Practice Group, and has represented Tribes across the country in litigation involving issues such as tribal sovereignty and jurisdiction, federal funding for tribal healthcare programs, and taxation.

Andrew has taught legal writing at the University of Minnesota Law School and coached University teams in the National Native American Law Students Association Moot Court Competition. Andrew formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Parks and Trails Council of Minnesota, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Coffee House Press, a nonprofit literary press headquartered in Minneapolis.
