Pacific Northwest Farmers Cooperative Combines with Cooperative Agricultural Producers
THE COMBINED COOPERATIVES HAVE INCREASED GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE AND CAPACITY TO STORE MORE THAN 38.5 MILLION BUSHELS OF GRAIN ANNUALLY.
Pacific Northwest Farmers Cooperative, Inc. (PNW), an Idaho farmer-owned cooperative nestled in the Palouse hills of Southeastern Washington and Northern Idaho, provides grain marketing, storage and transportation services for its patron-owners. Dorsey helped PNW with the merger between Cooperative Agricultural Producers, a Washington state farmer-owned cooperative engaged in the same line of business. The resulting combination substantially increases the reach and scope of these farmer-owned cooperatives and their efficiency in meeting the grain storage and transportation needs of nearly 1400 patron-members.
