
Overview
As an associate in Dorsey’s corporate group, Yeareen helps companies succeed in their capital markets transactions and assist them with ongoing compliance and reporting obligations. Yeareen also helps companies involved in international trade with matters related to U.S. export controls and national security law. Yeareen was a summer associate at Dorsey in 2020 and 2021.
Before joining Dorsey, Yeareen worked in the anti-money laundering (AML) division of the Bank of Montreal, taught Economics at an international school in Korea, and created community events as a program officer for the World Affairs Council in Seattle.
During law school, Yeareen served as the Articles Editor of the Washington Law Review, participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, and volunteered on the Admissions Committee. In addition, she served as a non-parent board member of Parents Attending Law School (PALS), working to support other law students who have or are considering having children. Yeareen was a judicial extern at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington.
