Overview
Bruce assists a diverse range of clients, from emerging startups to multinational corporations, in managing the U.S. immigration process and cross-border workforce mobilization. He handles a high volume of business immigration matters, with a focus on nonimmigrant visa categories including L-1 (individual and blanket), H-1B, O-1, E-1, E-2, and TN. Bruce has extensive experience designing comprehensive visa programs and managing large-scale projects to secure U.S. work authorization for global workforces.
In addition to nonimmigrant visas, Bruce navigates employment-based immigrant petitions, including EB-1, PERM-based EB-2 and EB-3, NIW, and EB-5 matters. He also conducts thorough I-9 compliance reviews and develops enforcement response protocols for large-scale employers. Leveraging his legal background in both the United States and China, Bruce has a practical understanding of the complexities inherent in cross-border mobility. He uses this dual perspective to provide clear and effective guidance that helps clients efficiently position their employees in the United States while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining Dorsey, Bruce practiced business immigration law at an Am Law 100 firm. While in law school, he served as a legal extern for Judge Diarmuid F. O’Scannlain at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
