Chad is an associate in Dorsey’s Washington office, where he is a member of the Regulatory Affairs Group. Chad advises clients on a wide range of regulatory compliance, litigation, and corporate matters in the energy sector.
Chad’s experience includes the representation of oil, gas, and power industry participants before the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), state regulatory commissions, and state and federal courts in a variety of regulatory compliance and litigation matters under the Interstate Commerce Act, Federal Power Act, Natural Gas Act, and the Public Utilities Regulatory Policies Act, and related state statutes and regulations. Chad’s corporate experience includes regulatory due diligence in large energy infrastructure transactions, including sales and purchases of renewable power and oil and gas assets.
Chad also maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting clients in asylum and special immigrant juvenile status cases.
