Brian’s practice focuses on representing and advising employers – from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies – in all types of employment litigation matters including hiring, employee discipline, terminations, wage and hour issues, discrimination and harassment claims, RIF/WARN, retaliation and whistleblower allegations, and non-compete agreements.
Brian has defended employers in all stages of employment litigation, from advising on threatened legal claims to advocating for clients from a lawsuit’s beginning to end. Brian also has significant experience in providing leadership training on topics including conducting effective workplace investigations, labor relations, and legal compliance.
Before practicing law, Brian spent over six years as a Human Resources professional in both Fortune 500 and public sector environments. As an HR professional, Brian advised managers on many employment topics ranging from reductions in force, collective bargaining, and labor disputes to wage and hour, employee relations, and performance management issues.
