Alison provides counsel to her clients at each stage of the trademark process, from advising large multinational corporations about enforcement strategy, to aiding small, local organizations preparing to file their first trademark applications.

Alison’s practice includes developing international trademark enforcement strategies, trademark prosecution in United States and abroad, as well as matters relating to trademark dilution, trade dress, false advertising, technology and domain names.  Her clients come from a wide variety of industries including healthcare, agriculture, and aviation.

Alison is a contributor to Dorsey’s critically-acclaimed IP Blog,, which focuses on legal developments in the world of TradeMarks, Copyrights, and Advertising. was named one of the “Top 50” law blogs by the ABA Journal in 2017.
