Overview
Hannah cares deeply about her clients' goals and values and provides a personalized approach to help clients anticipate employment issues and manage disputes, or litigation.
Hannah is an associate in the Costa Mesa office of Dorsey & Whitney, where she is a member of the firm's Labor and Employment Group. Before entering the legal profession, Hannah built a career in business, managing teams, developing training programs, and navigating complex workplace challenges. That hands-on experience gives her a rare and practical perspective — one that allows her to understand not just the legal dimensions of a matter, but the operational realities employers face and the real-world consequences legal decisions carry.
Hannah is a skilled and tenacious litigator who represents employers across the full arc of workplace disputes — from early risk assessment and strategic counseling through complex litigation and arbitration. She has extensive experience defending employers against single-plaintiff claims of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, as well as wage and hour class actions and representative actions under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). She has successfully represented employers in traditional labor disputes and has prevailed in multiple arbitrations. Her approach to litigation is both creative and deliberate — she works closely with clients to build strategies that hold up under pressure while remaining grounded in their values, internal policies, and business priorities.
Hannah is equally valued as a day-to-day counselor on the employment issues companies navigate continuously: terminations, severance agreements, confidentiality and non-disparagement provisions, wage and hour compliance, and beyond. She also partners with clients to develop compliance programs built around the specific realities of their industry and operations — frameworks designed not just to check boxes, but to reduce risk meaningfully and support clear, defensible decision-making at every level of the business.
Hannah is also committed to her profession and community in equal measure – providing pro bono legal services, coaching mock trial, and volunteering with foster youth. She is an active member of the Orange County Bar Association, serves on its Community Outreach Committee, and contributes to several committees through her involvement with Orange County Women in Law (OCWLA).
Outside the office, Hannah is a lifelong and competitive skier, having raced at the national level through both the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Association (USSA) and NASTAR programs. While her racing days are behind her, the sport remains central to who she is — and its demands of focus, discipline, and strategic thinking continue to shape her approach.
