Sydney is a litigator and a member of Dorsey’s Trial Group. Practicing in the area of commercial litigation, she has represented clients in state and federal courts as well as before arbitration panels. She has handled a wide variety of litigation matters, including insurance coverage actions, white collar defense, agribusiness cases, commercial contract disputes, as well as financial and securities actions. In addition to concentrating in business defense, Sydney has assisted corporations on the plaintiff's side of legal disputes. She has extensive experience working with clients to navigate discovery issues, handling discovery hearings, and has managed teams of associates and contract attorneys through all stages of fact and expert discovery.

  • Representing broker-dealers in disputes brought before FINRA arbitration panels
  • Obtained a trial judgment in a fraudulent transfer and breach of fiduciary duty case
  • Representing various financial institutions in foreclosure and other creditor-debtor claims
