Overview
Before joining Dorsey & Whitney, Courtney worked as a registered nurse, where she gained firsthand experience with the challenges and opportunities within the healthcare system. She later earned her law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law and her Master of Health Administration from Dartmouth, combining her clinical and legal background to bring a unique perspective to her practice.
Courtney’s practice focuses on advising healthcare organizations on regulatory and compliance matters. She works with hospitals, health systems, and providers to navigate complex federal and state requirements, including those related to licensing, reimbursement, privacy, and quality of care. Courtney is particularly interested in helping clients design practical compliance strategies that enhance patient care, improve provider satisfaction, and advance organizational goals.
