Overview

NICOLE ADVISES CLIENTS ON A WIDE-RANGE OF HEALTH RELATED STATE AND FEDERAL COMPLIANCE, REGULATORY AND CORPORATE TRANSACTIONAL MATTERS. 
Nicole practices in the area of health law advising pharmacies, pharmacy benefit managers, hospitals, long-term care providers, medical practices, and private healthcare companies on a variety of regulatory, compliance, and corporate transactional matters. She regularly advises on issues related to: the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy and security laws, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and state pharmacy laws, Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributors (VAWD) accreditation, Joint Commission accreditation and medical staff bylaws, tax-exempt status, certificate of need appeals, corporate structures and formation, and state and federal licensure.
