Overview

Anna Boyle helps businesses, property owners, developers, investors, manufacturers, and public entities navigate high-stakes disputes where significant assets and business objectives are at risk.

A versatile litigator, she represents clients in complex commercial disputes involving real estate, construction, environmental, and regulatory matters across the country.

Anna specializes in property-related disputes, including commercial lease controversies, purchase agreement disputes, construction defect claims, environmental litigation, and other matters involving real estate ownership, development, and operations.

Clients also turn to Anna to handle government contracting and regulatory disputes, defend class actions, enforce arbitration agreements, and litigate complex business claims in jurisdictions across the country. She has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts nationwide and before arbitral tribunals, frequently handling matters involving novel legal issues, significant business exposure, and appellate litigation.

Anna has secured numerous decisive victories for clients, including obtaining dismissal of class-action claims against a public utility that was later affirmed on appeal; defeating commercial claims against a national retailer in federal court; successfully compelling arbitration in multiple putative class actions; preserving business operations for a manufacturer facing an emergency administrative shutdown; and securing dismissal of environmental and property-value claims against corporate defendants.

Her appellate experience spans state and federal courts across the country, including a successful appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. Before entering private practice, Anna served as a judicial clerk at the Minnesota Court of Appeals, experience that continues to inform her strategic approach to district court and appellate litigation.

In addition to her commercial practice, Anna is actively committed to serving clients on a pro bono basis in immigration and housing matters.

Anna serves on the Partner Leadership Council of Minnesota Women Lawyers and on the Board of Directors of Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid.
