International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that it has been cited in the Yale Law Women’s 2014 survey of Family Friendly Firms for Category Honors in the “Utilization of Parental Leave Policies.” Yale Law Women recognized Dorsey for its superior performance in the category of “highest average percent of female associates, male associates, and partners taking the maximum length of paid caregiver leave.” This category is one that Yale Law alumni have identified as “particularly important for evaluating family friendliness.”

Dorsey is regularly praised for its leadership in family friendly practices and workplace flexibility. In addition to this latest recognition by Yale Law Women, Dorsey also was named a “Best Law Firm for Women” in 2013 by the Working Mother & Flex-Time Lawyers Best Law Firms. That was the sixth time Dorsey has been recognized as one of the “Best Law Firms for Women.”

“Dorsey offers a number of family-friendly options to its lawyers, including parental leave, flexible work arrangements and childcare subsidies,” said Ken Cutler, Managing Partner of Dorsey. “We are very pleased to be recognized once again for our workplace parental leave policies.”
