The CFPB, HUD and the federal banking regulators have signaled a new emphasis on fair lending examination and enforcement. Banks and other lenders are now reviewing the effectiveness of their fair lending policies and procedures.

Importantly, the Administration has also indicated viewing fair lending within the broader context of non-discrimination and fair treatment, including loan origination, customer service and loan servicing.

This session of the Roundtable will review important components of a fair lending program, including recommended approaches to review an institution’s fair lending policies and procedures, as well as recent legal developments.
