Shannon Lynch Haen

As a member of the Corporate group with a focus on construction, mining and energy, Shannon works with clients to meet long-term goals as well as assist with the daily aspects of their business. She drafts and revises everything from EPC-style construction contracts and renewable energy procurement agreements to narrow-scope professional services agreements.  She also provides her clients with everyday business support, such as revising master services agreements and contractor agreements.  From counselling sophisticated owners to emerging companies, Shannon is sensitive to her clients’ varying business goals and strategic concerns.

In addition to her corporate practice, Shannon leverages her IP background as a USPTO-licensed patent attorney to drive client-oriented and actionable solutions for the various business issues that can interact with intellectual property rights.

Prior to law school, Shannon worked for nearly a decade as a mechanical engineer for two significant global manufacturers. She successfully developed and maintained substantive supplier and customer relationships. She also enjoyed managing the global commercialization of belt-driven bicycle products, running a second-shift welding manufacturing line and spearheading product development for a new snowmobile target market.
