Chris Gulinello



Prior to joining Dorsey & Whitney, Chris was a tenured professor of law, teaching at the NKU-Chase College of Law for 19 years. Chris taught classes on contract law, corporate law and business organizations, mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation, venture capital, accounting and finance basics, and Chinese law, among others. He has published articles on corporate governance, securities law, and venture capital, as well as a law school text on business organization law.

Before entering academia, Chris worked in the New York offices of Latham & Watkins doing general corporate and securities work. He then moved to Taiwan where he worked as foreign legal counsel for Huang & Partners and the Taipei office of Baker & McKenzie. In Taiwan, Chris honed his Chinese language and deal-making skills while practicing general corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. He represented many global and local clients in various international corporate and business transactions including aircraft financing, joint ventures, major PIPE investments, local due diligence on large global transactions, IP protection and licensing, SAAS contracts, stock purchases, and other deals.
