Mr. Weiner is a partner in Dorsey's Corporate Group focusing on the representation of emerging growth companies. His practice focuses in the areas of corporate formation, mergers and acquisition, venture capital finance, corporate finance and securities regulation. Mr. Weiner represents public and private companies in a variety of industries, including biotech/life sciences, renewable energy, Internet, software and mining. In addition, he counsels Boards of Directors and management teams in the areas of equity compensation, corporate governance, Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory and disclosure matters.
Mr. Weiner has successfully completed numerous venture capital and other private placements for both private and public companies, as well as several public offerings. He has also consummated multiple mergers and acquisitions, including asset purchase transactions.
Mr. Weiner also advises clients on intellectual property licensing and commercial contract matters.
Mr. Weiner serves on the Board of Directors of the Colorado BioScience Association and the Board of Advisors of Startup Colorado. He is an advisor in residence at the Rocky Mountain Innosphere. He is also Corporate Secretary of Envirofit International, Inc., ValveXchange, Inc. and Career Analytics, Inc.
