Dorsey Attorney Elected To King County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Board Of Trustees
SEATTLE (June 5, 2009) — International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP is pleased to announce that Larry Ward, an attorney in the Seattle office, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the King County Bar Association (KCBA). Ward begins his three-year term as trustee on July 1, 2009.
The Board of Trustees is the leadership body of the Young Lawyers Division of the KCBA. It provides professional development opportunities and information resources to lawyers who have been in the profession for five years or less or who are 36 years old and under. YLD also delivers law-related services to the general public including community education and information as well as advice and consultation through the Neighborhood Legal Clinics Clinic Schedule.
“I’m honored to have been elected as a Trustee,” said Ward. “I look forward to collaborating with my fellow YLD trustees to provide quality education and mentoring programs, meaningful service opportunities and to enhance KCBA’s diversity programming and support.”
Ward is an attorney in Dorsey’s Corporate Group concentrating his practice on U.S. export control matters, technology commerce licensing and franchise law.
