Sara Stenberg is a Partner in Dorsey's Finance and Restructuring practice group. She concentrates her practice in the area of domestic and international commercial financing and credit transactions, including commercial loans, revolving loan facilities, term loan facilities, syndicated loans, letter of credit transactions, acquisition financing and asset-based lending. She also practices in the areas of project development and finance, financial services regulation and commercial credit and debit card transactions. 

In addition, Sara represents lenders in connection with financings of Indian reservation infrastructure, economic development and other activities.

Representative Transactions

  • Counsel to agent in $250 million syndicated revolving credit facility to Indian tribe
  • Counsel to agent in $325 million syndicated revolving credit facility to public company
  • Counsel to agent in $40 million syndicated equipment financing to Indian tribe
  • Counsel to lender in $175 million structured finance note purchase transaction
  • Counsel to project company in connection with $423 million project financing (equity, subordinated debt and senior debt) and development of three 100 million gallon ethanol facilities located in Indiana, Nebraska and Ohio
  • Counsel to bank issuing co-branded credit and debit cards
