Mr. Seymour is Of Counsel in the Finance and Restructuring Department and the Energy Practice Group. His practice is concentrated on project development and financing of energy and other infrastructure projects, as well as corporate and commercial finance transactions.
Project Development and Finance. Development, construction, financing, acquisition, disposition and restructuring of electric generation facilities (wind, biomass, cogeneration, gas, coal, hydro, other), mines and other infrastructure facilities; negotiation of development agreements, construction and equipment supply contracts, interconnection and transmission agreements, gas and coal supply and transportation agreements, steam supply agreements, power purchase agreements, marketing agreements and plant operation and maintenance agreements. Recent projects include wind projects in various stages of development throughout the western United States and the development of a 215 mile 345 kV transmission line in Texas.
Corporate and Commercial Finance. Representation of borrowers and lenders in connection with revolving loan facilities, term loan facilities, warehouse facilities, syndicated and participating loans, leveraged leases, issuance of bonds and notes, acquisition financings, leveraged lending and asset-based financings.
