International Estate Planning
If you are a United States taxpayer who lives abroad, has assets in other countries, or has a spouse who is not a citizen of the United States, Julia can help you maneuver through complications caused by multiple countries’ tax systems, tax treaty provisions and various property and inheritance laws. Julia also works with nonresident aliens who own assets in the United States or who are married to a United States citizen.
Trust and Estate Administration
Julia has considerable expertise in counseling trustees in administering trusts and personal representatives in administering estates. From gift and estate tax returns to fiduciary income tax returns Julia can assist you both in advice and preparation. In the event of valuation or other tax controversies, she will represent the estate or trust against the tax authorities to achieve the best outcome.
