Nearly every day, executives and managers, and the Human Resources personnel who work with them, are confronted with unanticipated and unusual questions regarding the workforce. Just when managers think they have "seen it all," along comes a new, and often, stranger scenario, involving a permutation to an area they thought they fully understood. Whether the situations involve sexual harassment, disability issues, leave questions, compensation inquiries, or a myriad of other issues, companies' managers and executives often find themselves back at square one when trying to construct an appropriate response and devise a creative solution to the problem presented. Sometimes these "quirky questions" can be resolved easily; other times, they implicate issues (both legal and practical) that are not immediately apparent and require thoughtful assessment.
During this program, Roy Ginsburg, David Lauth and other members of Dorsey's Labor and Employment group will address the obvious and the obscure. Discussion will focus on providing practical advice to the unusual and often difficult questions with which employers must routinely grapple. If you would like specific questions addressed at the seminar, please email them to or . We will cover as many of the e-mailed inquiries as we can.
