Brooke Pietrzak

Ms. Pietrzak is a partner in Dorsey’s Trial Group in New York, a member of the Electronic Discovery practice group, and a representative on the Firm’s Diversity Steering Committee. Her practice is focused on securities litigation, general commercial litigation and products liability litigation. She has served as lead trial counsel in a number of NASD and NYSE arbitrations, has participated in several proceedings before the American Arbitration Association and the International Center for Dispute Resolution and has represented clients in cases in federal and state courts across the country.
Representative Litigation
In re Canon Cameras Litigation, 237 FRD 357 (S.D.N.Y. 2006); represented defendant camera manufacturer in consolidated nationwide class action involving claims of breach of warranty, unjust enrichment and violation of state consumer protection statutes; defeated motion for class certification and obtained summary judgment on all claims.
William D. Burge, Sr. v. Springhill Hospitals, Inc. et al.; represented defendant tissue supplier in products liability action involving claims of strict liability, negligence and breach of warranty; obtained summary judgment on all claims.
