Ms. Padgett’s practice focuses on regulatory matters, administrative litigation, and complex civil litigation. Ms. Padgett represents clients in regulatory proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”) including market-based rate and cost-of-service hearings.
Ms. Padgett has experience preparing and filing protests and motions to intervene to rate filings before FERC, complaints regarding pipeline apportionment and prorationing practices, post-hearing briefs, and oil pipeline tariffs at the FERC.
In addition to her FERC practice, Ms. Padgett participates in complex civil litigation before the District of Columbia Superior Court.
Prior to law school, Ms. Padgett worked in finance and product marketing at various large telecommunications companies.
Ms. Padgett is an active member of the Energy Bar Association. She currently serves on the FERC Practice and Administrative Law Judges Committee and the Oil and Liquids Pipeline Committee. Ms. Padgett is an enrolled member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and a member of the Native American Bar Association of Washington, D.C.
