Amy Holland leads the SBA loan department at Guidant Financial, a small business financing company that helps individuals secure funding to start, buy or grow a business. In 2016, Amy and her team helped over 100 franchise owners secure $21 million in SBA funding, and under Amy’s guidance, almost half of those individuals were able to use their retirement funds as the down payment on their loan using 401(k) business financing.

Allison Zorich is the National Business Development Manager at Guidant Financial. Allison is responsible for managing accounts and creating lasting partnerships with key executives in the franchise industry. Under Allison’s leadership, Guidant has become the industry’s leading franchise financing provider and works with hundreds of franchise brands to help their franchisees obtain the funding they need.

Michael Esfeld, a Vice President and Business Development Officer for Umpqua Bank, has specialized in SBA financing for over 29 years. With SBA lending experience in commercial real estate and business acquisition financing, he believes in the benefit of borrowers being prequalified to ensure a smoother transaction.

Moderator: Josh Piper, a Senior Attorney at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, has substantial experience advising local, national, and international businesses in a broad range of franchising, licensing, and distribution issues.
