Mr. Mitrione is an associate in the Trademark, Copyright and Brand Management group. Mr. Mitrione has represented and defended Fortune 500 companies in federal courts protecting their intellectual property portfolios. He has litigated cases involving claims of trademark infringement, unfair competition, false advertising, dilution, cybersquatting, trade dress infringement, counterfeiting, patent and copyright infringement. He also initiates and manages all facets of ex parte and inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Mitrione has broad experience in counseling clients regarding infringement and anti-counterfeiting and other intellectual property enforcement actions, as well as licensing and co-branding across a wide range of products and services. Mr. Mitrione also assists clients in the clearance and prosecution of marks and resolves Internet domain name disputes via administrative dispute resolution proceedings.
