Mr. Martin is a corporate lawyer with over 30 years experience and is a partner in Dorsey's Corporate/Finance practice group and co-Chair of the Venture Capital and Emerging Companies practice group. Mr. Martin concentrates his practice on representation of public and private companies in a broad range of corporate, securities and business-related matters, including SEC registered and private securities offerings and financings, merger and acquisition transactions, technology licensing, disclosure issues, corporate compliance matters, takeover defenses and executive compensation.

In addition to being the co-Chair of the Venture Capital and Emerging Companies practice group, Mr. Martin is active in representing venture capital firms, investment bankers and private companies in the computer software and hardware, electronics, healthcare products and financial institution industries.
