Director of Legislative Affairs since 2004. Teresa has twenty-two years experience in lobbying, communications, public policy development, grassroots development, coalition building, and successful client advocacy. She has proven skills at building relationships, partnerships and finding consensus among various groups within government, business and nonprofit sectors.
Teresa has extensive public policy experience as both a legislator and government relations executive. She served as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1988-1996. From 1996 until 2004 Teresa managed the legislative and regulatory government relations affairs for AT&T in Minnesota. As a house member, Teresa served on a variety of committees including: Environmental & Natural Resources, Judiciary, Regulated Industries, Financial Institutions, Insurance, Local Governments, Governmental Operations and Rules & Legislative Affairs as Vice-Chair. At AT&T, Teresa managed and coordinated her own lobbying team. She also organized and participated in industry coalitions, developing grassroots lobbying efforts and strategic plans to effect legislative change.
