David Huang is an Partner in the corporate group of Dorsey’s Shanghai office. David’s practice involves a wide range of PRC related matters, including corporate finance in overseas capital markets, cross-border mergers and acquisitions and foreign direct investment in the PRC.
David has extensive corporate finance and securities experience. He has represented issuers several primary and secondary listings on the HKSE including a major PRC gold mining company in its HK$1.2 billion initial public offering in Hong Kong and represented a Australia mining company in its secondary listing on the HKSE. He has also represented a major electronic devices manufacturer in its Rule 144A private placement offering in the U.S. in connection with an IPO in Hong Kong.
David also has general corporate experience including representing companies in acquiring interests in all forms of business structures in the PRC from joint ventures to major state-owned enterprises and representing several U.S. companies in establishing their corporate presence in the PRC.
David is a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Hong Kong and is admitted to practice law in both PRC and the New York State, USA.
