Sarah Andrews Herman is a partner and head of the Dorsey Fargo office. Sarah subscribes to one fundamental principle: “Clients come to us at a critical moment, at a turning point. The right solution can change their lives.” That conviction informs Sarah’s entire practice, as she acts as lead counsel in numerous commercial cases and in product liability and employment lawsuits and arbitrations, while also serving as head of our firm’s Fargo office.

Wisnewski, et al v. DMF, et al.
Defended Dorsey client in a class-action wage and hour suit.
Benesh v. Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota
Successfully defended Dorsey client against a discrimination and wrongful discharge claim from a plaintiff disabled with post-traumatic stress disorder from the Vietnam War.
Engel v. Montana Dakota Utilities
Won a motion for a summary judgment in this wrongful discharge case brought against the ADA—a judgment upheld by the North Dakota Supreme Court.
Fargo-Moorhead Radio, Inc., et al vs. Mid-States Development, et al.
Successfully argued to defeat a plaintiff's motion for a temporary restraining order.
