Partner, Public Finance Department. Mr. Helde’s practice focuses on tax-advantaged and other debt financings for Indian tribes, nonprofit corporations and public sector entities, including tax-exempt and taxable bond financings and New Market Tax Credit financings. Mr. Helde regularly represents tribal and other borrowers in connection with these transactions, and also regularly serves as bond counsel, counsel to the underwriter and counsel to the placement agent in connection with offerings or placements of health care revenue bonds, 501(c)(3) bonds, housing bonds, industrial revenue bonds, lease revenue bonds and syndications of participation interests in tax-exempt and taxable loan, note and lease transactions.
