BRIDGET WORKS CLOSELY WITH CLIENTS TO IDENTIFY, EVALUATE, CULTIVATE AND SECURE PROTECTION FOR THEIR INNOVATIONS AND GROWS INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ASSETS THROUGH EFFECTIVE PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT.

Bridget has over 17 years of experience helping her clients protect their intellectual property. She excels at understanding client inventions and trade secrets and provides advice on how these can be used to protect their business. Effective communication is a signature of Bridget’s practice, and she is fortunate to have the opportunity to maintain relationships with her clients over many years, some nearing two decades.

As a registered patent attorney, technical areas in which Bridget practices include chemical, food, agribusiness, medical and mechanical and medical devices, computer networks, software products, alloys, fluid handling, waste processing, and consumer products.

In addition to patent portfolio management, Bridget also advises on early-stage patent enforcement, connecting with IP litigators when needed; product clearance; invention development, including working with her clients to design invention disclosure programs; intellectual property licensing; and due diligence. She works closely with her colleagues in the firm’s Trademark, Copyright and Advertising group to ensure her clients are provided the right connections to take a multi-pronged approach to protect their intellectual property. 

Bridget is also head of the firm's Patent practice group in Minneapolis and firm-wide co-chair of the Food, Beverage & Agriculture industry group.

Bridget is known by her colleagues as having a team attitude and for being a mentor and leader. An appreciation of and engagement with her team of clients, colleagues, and foreign counsel around the world allows Bridget to provide new ideas to this valued team.
