Dorsey has recently renamed its White Collar Crime and Civil Fraud Group as the “Government Enforcement and Corporate Investigations Practice Group” to better reflect the depth and scope of the group’s practice and expertise. Today, our group consists of more than 30 lawyers from nine offices around the world—including former senior federal and state prosecutors and regulators—who have gained a reputation for providing dynamic insight and valuable counsel on all aspects of enforcement and investigative matters. Our group’s expertise includes both internal and government investigations, with substantive knowledge in a wide range of areas, including, for example: (1) healthcare, securities, bank, contractor, tax, and general mail and wire fraud; (2) domestic political bribery, anti-corruption, and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and U.K. Bribery Act; (3) export and import control, including investigations related to alleged Trading with the Enemy Act and customs violations; (4) economic espionage; (5) environmental crimes; (6) data privacy and computer fraud; and (7) violations of the FDCA, Stark law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and the False Claims Act. Our attorneys also have developed industry specific expertise in areas including food and agriculture, banking, construction, energy, and health care (medical device manufacturers, healthcare providers, and health benefits providers).
