Mr. Epstein is a Partner in the Trial Group. His practice involves commercial litigation as well as white-collar litigation, with a particular focus on cases in the field of banking law. He has tried jury trials and bench trials as first chair in state and federal courts. He is an adjunct professor of law at the Columbia University School of Law, where he teaches a course on legal writing, research and oral advocacy. He also works as an arbitrator for the New York City Civil Court and a mediator for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Before joining Dorsey, Mr. Epstein practiced for three years in the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. He also previously worked as a reporter for several daily newspapers and other print publications.
