Dorsey participates in a number of initiatives that reinforce our dedication to recruiting diverse law students and attorneys.

Dorsey & Whitney Diversity Fellowship
Dorsey is offering its seventh annual Diversity Fellowship in 2012. Each fellowship recipient, in our Denver, Minneapolis, and Seattle offices, will work as a summer associate in 2012, and at the end of the summer will receive $10,000 to be applied toward law school tuition and expenses during their second year of law school. Job Fairs
The Firm participates in a number of job fairs each year, including:

• Lavender Law Conference 
• Minnesota Minority Recruitment Conference 
• Northwest Minority Job Fair 

In addition, Dorsey has hosted both the Minnesota Minority Recruitment Conference and the Northwest Minority Job Fair.

Diversity Clerkship Programs
Dorsey supports the work of local and national organizations that offer diversity clerkship programs. The Firm is participating in three diversity clerkship programs in 2012:

• The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity's 1L Scholars Program
• The Minnesota State Bar Association's (MSBA) Minority Clerkship Program 
• The Twin Cities Diversity in Practice Summer Rotation Clerkship 

Student Organization Outreach
The Firm actively reaches out to the minority student groups at law schools. This includes corresponding with student groups during the school year and participating in student group events.
