Kari Bomash is an associate in Dorsey’s Health Group and a member of Dorsey’s Non-Profit and Tax Exempt Organizations practice group. Her practice focuses on regulatory and transactional issues for a variety of multi-hospital systems, medical clinics, health insurers and medical device companies. She has expertise on a wide range of issues including HIPAA and state law privacy and security compliance and concerns, HITECH Act and EHR preparedness, fraud and abuse concerns and Medicare/Medicaid rules and reimbursement.
In addition, she has experience counseling public charities and private foundations on issues relating to formation, governance, conflicts of interest and unrelated business income.
