International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that it had 40 practice areas ranked nationally in the just-released U.S. News-Best Lawyers rankings of the “Best Law Firms.” Of those 40 practice areas, 10 Dorsey practice areas were ranked Tier 1, the highest ranking available.
The practice areas ranked in Tier 1 include:
- Corporate Governance Law
- Corporate Law
- Employment Law – Management
- Environmental Law
- Franchise Law
- Litigation – Patent
- Litigation – Tax
- Litigation – Trusts & Estates
- Native American Law
- Trademark Law
In addition to the national rankings released by U.S. News-Best Lawyers, the publication also released rankings for individual metropolitan areas. Eleven of the Firm’s 13 U.S. offices were ranked in at least one practice area in the regional rankings, with a total of 100 combined Dorsey practice areas being recognized across the nation.
