The California Department of Justice is sending companies informational letters regarding their compliance with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act. See here.

Within 30 days from the date of such a letter, a company must:

  1. complete the form here and provide the California Department of Justice with its Web links to any required California Transparency in Supply Chains Act disclosures and its home page with a link to these disclosures; or
  2. provide the California Department of Justice with information showing why the company is not subject to the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act.

For additional information about the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, see here and the California Department of Justice’s Resource Guide issued in 2015 here.
