Paul M. Torgerson is a partner in Dorsey's Health Group. His practice involves the full range of issues related to health care, focused on health care providers and integrated healthcare delivery systems. He has represented a wide variety of tax exempt organizations ranging from large health care institutions, and public charities to private foundations.
In addition to more than 25 years at Dorsey, Mr. Torgerson served as Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of Fairview Health Services, a very large, diverse provider of integrated hospital and health care services and served on its most senior leadership teams. In those capacities, Mr. Torgerson participated in the oversight of the entire organization and was deeply involved in all aspects of strategic planning, human resources, risk management, public policy, process improvement, compliance, marketing and communications, research, as well as the full array of legal issues challenging the industry.
